Why choose fresh, organic skincare?

We rely on fresh fruits and vegetables to nourish our bodies, and the skin – our largest organ – is no different. Preservatives are excellent for maintaining synthetic freshness, but not for receiving the full benefits of our precious skincare products. Most preservatives used in skincare bind to the active molecules we want to absorb into our bodies, and lack the intelligence to deactivate after leaving the bottle or container. Therefore, what we are really taking into our bodies and blood stream are the preservatives – typically a blend of alcohols, weak acids and parabens – and not the natural rich ingredients we are buying. To avoid this problem, we create your facial masks, exfoliating polishes and moisturizing oils on-site to prevent oxidation and eliminate the need for preservatives. How often should I come in for a facial?

Once every 4-5 weeks.

On average, skin cells turnover every 28-40 days. As we age, our cell turnover rate slows down. That’s why our skin never looks quite as “bright” as it did when we were younger.

However, the good thing is out facials use a unique blend of techniques that address muscle tension, draining lymph nodes and calming the nervous system. Studies have shown massage improves the body’s blood circulation. And that is no different than your face. Improved blood circulation in your face means that your cells get lots of oxygen and nutrients that are carried along with the blood. Can I book an appointment for my daughter or son?

Yes, but he or she must be over the age of 13 to receive a treatment.

CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 SHALL BE STRICTLY PROHIBITED FROM ENTERING THE TREATMENT ROOM.

No persons under the age of 18 will be able to receive any service without the express written consent of their parent or guardian.

For children 15 and under, a parent or guardian MUST remain in the treatment room and for all minor children 16-17 years old the parent must remain on premises during services.

What is Kokoro?

Kokoro is a Japanese term with three basic meanings: the heart and its functions; mind and its functions; and center, or essence. Conceptually, it unites the notions of heart, mind, and spirit: it sees these three elements as being indivisible from one anther. To put your kokoro in something means you put your soul, feelings and thoughts in it. Exactly as we should when it comes to self-care.

How does the KOKORO Month-to-Month Membership work?

Our Membership Program is the perfect way to set time aside for yourself each month to heal and rejuvenate.

A monthly payment is charged to your debit or credit card on file beginning 30 days from the day you sign up and continues monthly on your anniversary date. Each month your card is charged, you will receive a KOKORO Monthly package under your name, available for you to redeem for a treatment.

Have big plans in the future? Lock in your price by taking advantage of our Membership Freeze Option. A membership may be frozen for a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months.

What happens if I can't come in to use my Membership benefits?

Members may rollover any unused services to the following month. Accumulated member services expire 6 months after date of credit card draft.

Upon termination of your month-to-month membership, accumulated member service packages expire and are non-refundable 90 days after you cancel your membership.

What if I want to cancel my Membership?

This program gives you the flexibility to continue for as many months as you wish without any long-term commitments. Cancellation requires just 30 days written notice any time after your first monthly payment. After written notice is received, one more package will be drafted and desposited into your account. This package is available to use for 90 days after the draft.
